Peripheral equipment for wire processing
Tecno Impianti Srl was founded in 1979 by Angelo Gnecchi, who at that time already had 20 years of experience in the design and construction of wire drawing machines for metal wires. The company is located in the industrial area of Lecco in northern Italy and was known from the beginning for the reliability of its machines in the press periphery. Since then, Tecno Impianti has been offering technologically advanced products that give customers increasing competitiveness in their industries. All machines are developed and manufactured in-house. They are in use in over 50 countries worldwide.

The pointing machines Mod. AT are used to taper the front end of the wire by rolling before it can be inserted into the drawing die. The smaller models are equipped with two horizontal rollers, while the larger models have two horizontal and two vertical rollers. The machines can be installed on a trolley or on a fixed base. For the pointing of medium-diameter wires, Tecno Impianti proposes the use of hydraulically driven pointing machines equipped directly with a drawing die. These can be used with powder or oil drawing agents.

The Tecno Impianti butt welding machines Mod. ST are utilized for the junction of low to medium carbon content wires, in order to avoid a new pointing of the wire into the drawing die. In the smaller models, the wire is blocked by special pedal-operated clamps and the clamp feed system is operated manually by means of a lever. In the larger models, the wire is blocked pneumatically and the clamp feed is also pneumatically driven. The machines are equipped with a PLC to control the welding parameters and the annealing cycle.
